ADI Standards check course

This course will allow instructors to arrive for their ADI Standards Check fully prepared.

The ADI Standards Check is an instructor test that driving instructors must take every 2 – 4 years to remain ‘approved’. It involves a qualified driving instructor giving a driving lesson to pupil, where an external examiner reviews and scores the instructor on their lesson ability.

Our course offers insight and knowledge on how to best prepare you for the examination. The course includes:

  • Lesson Videos
  • Monthly ‘Standards Check’ Clinics
  • Expert Trainer Email Support

Become a qualified instructor

To become an Approved Driving Instructor, you will need to complete 3 courses: Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3. These Parts can be completed at the pace you choose, in your spare time.

If I complete the online courses and pass, will I become a driving instructor? You must also complete in-car training too, but you will be halfway there with the theory tests.

Once you become a fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructor, you will be able to start your new career as an independent driving instructor with our full support. We will also guarantee you a place in our driving school with ongoing professional development training throughout, should you want that option.

It really is a new career, simply by completing the engaging courses we have on our website.
